About Cuprinol Garden Shades
Cuprinol Garden Shades is a timber treatment product designed to give beautiful colour and long-lasting protection to all garden wood, including (but not limited to) sheds, fencing, decking, pergolas and other garden buildings.
It is unique because it has been specially formulated as an opaque product with a matt finish, that helps to give garden wood a beautiful new colour while still allowing the original texture and grain of the wood to show.
Some of the more vibrant colours such as Sweet Sundae (pink) look great for kids’ garden buildings or those looking to achieve a shabby-chic look in their garden. More conservative colours such as Coastal Mist grey can help to achieve more of a modern, conventional feel.
The product glides on smoothly when applied and will easily wash out of the brush. When applying try and work with the grain rather than against it – this will help to achieve a consistent finish.
Generally you will need no more than two coats to get a strong, even finish. The quality and pigmentation of the paint is second to none. Apply on a dry, warm day to ensure that the product dries quickly. The faster and thicker you can paint the product on, the better results you’re likely to achieve.
Why We Love Cuprinol

All in all – the paint is a fantastic way in which to spruce up old timber furniture and bring your tired garden back to life. We cannot recommend it enough!
